Are moving amenities available at every Self Storage location?

Yes – in addition to our moving and packing supplies, we have moving carts or hand dollies available at our facilities.

Can I reserve a storage unit?

Yes, you can reserve a unit online, over the phone, or in person for free! Tell us when you’d like to move in, and once that date is confirmed, we will hold that exact unit for you.

Do you offer any discounts to veterans?

Yes we do! We’re a company that values your dollar. That’s why we offer many self-storage discounts, including 20% off to all veterans and armed forces. To see all discounts offered, explore our discounts page.

How do I rent a storage unit online?

Simply click on the rent now button at the top of our website or on the Self Storage location nearest you to rent a unit online.

Can I buy boxes and packing supplies at Self Storage?

Yes! If you’re about to move into a storage unit, our facility offers moving and storage supplies that help protect your belongings. Our supplies range from boxes, packing tape, mattress and furniture covers, to so much more!

Can I view a facility online before renting a unit?

We offer virtual tours that allow customers to view our facilities and better understand our amenities and storage units. If you’d like to see the inside of our facilities, go to our Virtual Tours page and click on the nearest Self Storage location.

Do you offer more than household storage?

Yes, Self Storage Self Storage offers business storage and moving storage solutions at every location! Our storage units are equipped to store just about anything you need. In addition to these, we also offer vehicle, RV, and boating storage at select facility locations.

How do I store a vehicle?

To store a vehicle at one of our facilities, we ask for proof of registration and insurance. Once those are confirmed, you can store your vehicle as long as you’d like within the storage unit or in our on-site parking lot – we don’t require any long-term agreements!

Can I change my storage unit size?

Yes! If you find yourself in need of more – or less – space, our team can help you find a better unit for your needs. At Self Storage, you’re not locked into any long-term contracts, so you can change units at any time, depending on our current availability.

Do I need insurance for the contents of my unit?

Yes, all tenants are required to have a Contents Protection Plan for the value of their belongings. For your convenience, we offer a Contents Protection Plan with different options that you can purchase. Alternatively, you may opt to provide proof of your own insurance when you move in! At that time, we will remove this fee from your account.

How do I access my storage unit?

You, selected family, and any business associates can access your local facility by using our secure keypad entry using a personal security code. Individual units are protected by a lock that is only accessible by the customer. Only contacts you authorize will be able to access your unit.

Daily access hours are from 6 AM – 11 PM, so you can always access your stuff when you need it.
